SENIOR COLLEGE ADMISSION

Bachelor of Arts

General Rules for BA Course

  1. Medium of Instruction for Arts Faculty—Marathi only.
  2. Admissions to B.A I, II and IIIrd year classes are given immediately after the declaration of results respectively H.S.C Board, B.A. I and B.A. IInd results.
  3. Admissions are given to the first year of Arts as per offered subject and the results of HSC or its equivalent examination.
  4. Original documents (such as HSC mark list, leaving certificate, concession form and certificates related to them) are not returned. Students are advised to keep xerox copies of the same before seeking admission.
  5. Students applying for concession in fees given by the government should submit such application forms along with the required original certificates and documents at the time of admission. In the absence of such application, the concerned student will have to pay fees for the complete academic year at the time of admission.
  6. If a student desires to cancel his admission for any reason, he is not entitled to get his original document without paying the fees for academic year.
  7. Instructions regarding HSC and the university examinations are displayed on the notice board. Students are advised to complete and submit their examination forms according to such instructions.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Part-I students are required to secure eligibility certificate from the university by applying in prescribed forms through the college office. Such forms are available in the office. Admission to Part-I is confirmed only after securing the eligibility certificate.
  2. Students from other states have to pay eligibility fees for their admission at any level according to the university rules. Their admission is confirmed only after securing the eligibility certificates from the university.
  3. However, students of other colleges seeking admission after completing Part-I examination do not have to pay the eligibility fees again.
