Department of political science

Department of History is one of the oldest and leading departments of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Mahavidyalaya, Peth Vadgaon. Department of History which was established in June 1984 runs Shivaji University, Kolhapur’s UG Course. The department is also functioning to build society through education. The Department of History of this institution is on its forward march. The Department of History is one of the DBAM activist departments. The department has a separate Department adjacent to the Faculty of Arts. The Department of History offers undergraduate, diploma, and certificate courses

Aim:

The Department of Political Science endeavours to generate new knowledge & develop students who are trained in Political Science.

Objectives:

To develop National and International Integrity among students.
To introduce the Concept, Ideas, and Theories of Political Science to the students.
To study Political Process and Actual Functioning of the Political System in Maharashtra and India.
To inculcate Human Values among the students and society To create awareness regarding National Duties and Fundamental Rights
